Notes

  1. Note Taker?

    1. Draft Google Doc Area for taking notes

  2. Layer123 recap

    1. Meredith: Got some foot traffic, will be following up with that soon.

  3. ONOS Build

    1. David: Have a sponsor page, 215 registered participants. Looking to be a good turnout event.

    2. Eva: Maximum seats?

    3. David: 200 was thought of maximum, but we’re expecting some no shows. May be crowded a bit.

    4. Eva: Need assistance, in terms of Twitter or media?

    5. David: Not at the moment. No budget for professional media crew.

    6. Sarah: One thing that we could try to introduce the new participants/companies to these marketing opportunities.

    7. Eva: I can forward a few European-based media folks, if we want to follow through.

    8. David: Lots of photography enthusiast in ONOS community, but just wanted to see if we wanted a more professional “crew.” Don’t have the budget for it, but if we see this year’s lacking in marketing side, we can make sure we have a budget for more media presence next year.

  4. Other discussion

    1. Eva: Question, should we make Marketing call a monthly call, similar to the US/Europe community call?

      1. David: We have plenty of things to do, let’s stick with biweekly.

    2. Eva: New participant, introduce yourself Kirsten?

      1. Kirsten: Joining Sarah and Meredith’s efforts for ONOS and CORD.

      2. Sarah: We’re adding her to the team to see if we can bring more coverage and work on ONOS and CORD.

    3. David: If we want to promote this marketing call to the community, we need to determine our bandwidth.

      1. Eva: We should look into seeing if we can introduce new people to this call, and getting more help from the community, particularly from other companies.

      2. David: Agreed, William have been thinking we should look into trying perhaps figuring out a new strategy on marketing, how can be better delegate marketing needs.

    4. Eva: Think that’s all. Wrap up early.
