How long have been working in the Ambassador Program?

I've been working in the Ambassador's program since it's inception in Q1 2016. I was part of the original group of Ambassadors and have been chosen as member of the first A-Team.

What contributions have you made in the past to the Ambassador Program?

With William, Carmelo, Charles, David and Jian we were the creators and first minds behind the Ambassadors Program

I've been member of the A-Team since it's inception in May 2016. By being part of the A-Team I help guide the program in it's first steps, nourish it's growth and help it expand in numbers and activities to the great success we are having.

I'm also currently mentoring 11 Ambassadors.

In the past I've participated and run multiple events as an ONOS ambassador, starting with meet-ups (Paris, Milan, Stockholm, Pisa, Berlin, Turin, Cork) to conferences (Cloud-net Pisa, Netsoft Bologna, ICIN Paris) and hackathons (Berlin IEEE). As part of the A-Team I've helped organising ONOS and CORD Build and the Ambassadors related activities. For the events I've also created material that is now public and part of the ambassador's material bucket.

What are you actively working on in the Ambassador Program?

I'm currently working in helping the program and the Ambassadors in all the needs such as mentoring, event organisation, budget shaping, content creation.

I'm also continuously an advocate of the Ambassadors program to attract new ambassadors and expand the coverage and the capability to reach as much audience as possible in order to spread the knowledge of ONOS and CORD.

Why do you feel you would be a good candidate for this position?

I feel that I would be a good candidate because I have an in depth knowledge of the program, it's key pieces and people.

I do also know many of the ambassadors personally and I feel that a personal relationship even furthers the results that an A-Team member can achieve.

I do also believe that working from an European timezone enables me as an A-Team member to be much closer to the needs and requests of the Ambassadors and the program here in Europe.

Are there any changes you would like to bring to the community if elected into this position?

I believe that the program has strong foundations so I would first do my best to help the A-Team and the program keep those foundations.

I would also like to make the program even more open to people from Partners and Members of ONF involving them even more both for events and program-related decisions.

I would also push the idea of regional meetings of ambassadors by using the ambassadors budget. During these event they could in person decide the strategy and way forward for the local ONOS and CORD community and then hold an open ONOS and CORD meet up. This would serve the purpose of finding and tackling needs specific to the local community, give feedback to the A-Team and strengthen the bond between ambassadors, while also spreading the word, with the meet-up around the two projects.
