Background / Bio

I'm excited to join the ONOS project ambassadors program and look forward to being an active member.  I'm currently at Calix, Inc. in product line leadership responsible for our SDN and NFV initiatives.  With 20 years experience in the networking industry, the positions I've held span the network stack.  Early on at Proxim, I ran the pre-sales systems engineering team designing indoor and outdoor wireless mesh networks.  At Venturi Wireless, I was Director of product management for our our wireless TCP optimization portfolio.  That led to a stint at Juniper Networks where I product managed their video cache, and now on to Calix.

At Calix, I've been responsible for our initiatives contributing the Kafka interface to the ONOS controller.  I've also overseen the integration of our access products into the OpenCORD reference design.

In my free time, I enjoy playing with SDN, virtualization, and VoIP on my home network when I'm not playing with amateur radio or coaching softball for my two daughters.
