What contributions have you made in the past to the ONOS community?
Since 2014 I have worked on the ONOS classic code base, implementing new features, integration tests, unit tests and build mechanisms. I have also been the primary ONOS release manager, responsible for major and minor releases of the code, build artifacts, and docker images for major and minor releases. I am also working on the micro-ONOS code base as a developer.
What are you actively working on in ONOS?
I am currently part of the SD-RAN team working on the Aether project. Responsibilities include code development, test development, and releases.
Why do you feel you would be a good candidate for this position?
I know the internals of ONOS very well, and I work with the downstream projects like Trellis, CORD, and SEBA daily. As the release manager for ONOS I have a unique insight into how the software is used and deployed in the field. My experience with SD-RAN enables me to work with the various parts of Aether as well.
