What contributions have you made in the past to the ONOS community?

Since 2014 I have contributed worked on the ONOS classic code base, implementing new features, integration and tests, unit tests , code refactoring, and elimination of redundant and unused code to the ONOS code baseand build mechanisms. I have also been the ONOS primary ONOS release manager, responsible for the last 2 and a half yearsmajor and minor releases of the code, build artifacts, and docker images for major and minor releases. I am also working on the micro-ONOS code base as a developer.

What are you actively working on in ONOS?

ONOS release 2.1 tasks including bazel upgrades, karaf upgrades, support for JDK 11, ongoing code refactoring, integration testingI am currently part of the SD-RAN team working on the Aether project. Responsibilities include code development, test development, and releases.

Why do you feel you would be a good candidate for this position?

I know the internals of ONOS very well, and I work with the downstream projects like Trellis, CORD, and SEBA daily. As the release manager for ONOS I have a unique insight into how the software is used and deployed in the field. My experience with SD-RAN enables me to work with the various parts of Aether as well.
