Charter:

• Incremental Improvement of the ONOS Web UI

Scope:

• Short-term focus in 2016: (Ibis Release)
  • Implementation of Region-aware Topology View (basic functionality: regions / devices / links / hosts)

  • Added functionality to Intents View (resubmit withdrawn intent / purge withdrawn intents)

  • Enhance existing table views -- Details panel for selected items

  • Reimplement “dark” theme

    
    

• Medium-term focus in 2017: (Jxxx Release, and beyond)

  • Region-aware Topology View -- reinstatement of Traffic Overlay

  • Implement Partitions View (visualization of cluster partitioning)

  • Keyboard navigation of tables (up/dn arrow selection, etc.)

  • Investigate design for indexed-global-search subsystem (GUI, CLI, REST)

Job Description:

• Typically, work will be mostly client-side (web technologies):

• Angular, D3, JavaScript (ES5), CSS, HTML, SVG, JSON

• Some server-side work:
