Release planning

Release planning consists of a 1 hour session to discuss the overall roadmap and release priorities to ensure that there is cohesion in the feature set for each release and two 2-hour meetings to let the team and community discuss what they plan to deliver in the upcoming release.

The priority discussion will occur a few days before the release planning meeting to ensure that the brigades and corresponding project owners have time to review, scrub, and prioritize their backlogs in order to represent what they intend to work on/deliver in the upcoming release.

The release planning meetings take place at 8-10 am and 4-6 pm PST/PDT.  A template slideset is emailed out (a few days prior to the planning date) to the ONOS or CORD dev mailing list/Google group for the brigades and project teams to fill in the details of their planned deliveries.

Release demo

Release demo may consist of two 1-hour meetings to let the team and community show what they delivered in the release.  The meetings take place at 8 am and 5 pm PST/PDT.  Meetings in corresponding time zones are not held if no demo is available to be shown.
